These beautiful, pure white fluted tea or coffee cups and saucers are decorated with vertical one-half inch wide black stripes and delicate thin rows of gilded, hand-painted gold stripe accents. The two-and-a-half-inch high cup is a generous four inches wide at the top and holds a full 6 ounces, or three quarters of a cup of your favorite morning beverage. The saucer is also generous, measuring a full five and three quarters inches wide, with edge that flute up a full 7/8ths of an inch, allowing it to serve second duty as an impromptu pastry dish. The stripes themselves have a deep rich black color because of a special production process that involves overglazing the black color. Both the cup and the saucer have a circular area on the underside that has not been glazed to give them a non-slip finish. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT A DROP-SHIP OPERATION.
